Will address the relevance of slavery to our current circumstances by focusing on mass incarceration and the Supreme Court’s recent decisions on race matters.

Reggie Shuford, Executive Director, PA ACLU, Civil Rights Attorney and David Kairys, Temple University Professor of Law, Civil Rights Attorney, Writer, will discuss mass incarceration as a particular aspect of the legacy of slavery.
