Revolutionary: A Pop-Up Street Art Exhibition is a six-week exhibit of 13 contemporary Philly-based artists installed at 13 locations across Philadelphia’s Historic District —an area of the city that runs from the Delaware River to 7th Street and from Vine to Lombard Streets. Commissioned by Visit Philadelphia and curated by StreetsDept.com’s Conrad Benner, the exhibition explores the spirit of revolution. The artists chosen for #RevolutionaryArt are looking at the world around us with a critical eye and creating works of art that challenge the political and social status quo. Our Revolutionary: Artist Panel at the National Constitution Center on June 7th, 2017 (from 6-8pm) will create a conversation with four of our Revolutionary artists –  Shawn Theodore, Michelle Angela Ortiz, Lisa Kelley, and Yasmine Mustafa. We will explore the exhibition, its themes, and these four artists’ pieces in greater depth. Panel will be hosted by the exhibition’s curator Conrad Benner.

Registration comes along with free appetizers and one free drink at Independence Beer Garden where we will continue the event after the panel discussion.
