Remember My Name: Dinah’s Story at Stenton

Join us Tuesday, February 23rd on Zoom to view a pre-recorded presentation of “Remember My Name: Dinah’s Story.” This 30-minute performance, written by Robert Branch and performed by theatre artist Marissa Kennedy and storyteller Irma Gardner-Hammond, explores the fullness of Dinah’s life and experiences. Born enslaved, Dinah won her freedom and lived and labored at Stenton for most of her life. She is credited with saving the house during the Revolution. The performance will be followed by a panel discussion on Zoom with the writer and actors who will discuss their research, script creation, and character development.
