Calling all artists, poets, writers, storytellers, wordsmiths, and more!

In honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, my organization Women In Transition is hosting a poetry reading & open mic event at the Friends Free Library of Germantown Friends School (5418 Germantown – across the street from Uncle Bobbie’s!)

The poetry reading will feature Trapeta Mayson, Monnette Sudler, Kirwyn Sutherland, Julia Lopez, and Shevaun Brannigan. The open mic signup will be at the door!

Tickets are Pay What You Can, and all proceeds will go to WIT, a Philly nonprofit domestic violence agency. Hope you can join us!
