Free

Please walk on over and participate in DARE TO IMAGINE-A U.S. Department of Arts and Culture National Action….In Germantown on Thursday, Oct l5th, 2-5pm.

From October 10th-18th, people across the United States are practicing radical imagination and creating the world they want to see. What if instead of another holiday commemorating the past, we took time to envision and celebrate the future?

Join the Germantown Artists Roundtable and Emissary from the Future Yolanda Wisher on Thursday, October l5 from 2-5pm at Greene & Chelten Avenues. Post your own visions of the Future at our very own Imagination Station. Make a flag and wave your neighborhood pride, create a friendship bracelet for a stranger, and #DareToImagine legislative changes that would make our city’s future brighter like access to quality health care for all, full funding for public schools, a $15 minimum wage, and sane gun control. Plus, performances by local artists re-imagining traditional patriotic songs.
