The Colored Girls Museum is open today

The Colored Girls Museum will be hosting Museum hours Sunday June  26th. Guided tours every 30 minutes between noon and 3:30pm.

On Thursday, June 9th, the Colored Girls Museum was recognized by Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority at their 21st Annual Day of Sharing Event. The Colored Girls Museum received the Edyth H. Ingram Award for our commitment to honoring and preserving the history, work and artistry of women of color.
What an incredible honor! We are pleased to be among several non-profit organizations who are all doing their part to make our city great. Thank you!
