Start December in a beautiful way with a free performance of Handel’s “Messiah” Oratorio by the Germantown Oratorio Choir with chamber orchestra, at 3pm this afternoon, December 1st, at First Presbyterian Church in Germantown, 35 W. Chelten Ave.   A 50 voice choir with soloists from Opera Philadelphia, will sing their hearts out for you, our neighbors, continuing a 70+ year tradition of free concerts in one of Germantown’s most lovely churches.  The church is also celebrating the 100th year anniversary of the McClean Organ, known as the Germantown Giant, the largest church organ in Philadelphia.
