Emmett Drueding is a Philadelphia-based guitarist, singer and songwriter with an admiration for Dave Van Ronk, Chet Atkins, The Beatles, Elliott Smith, and the greats of jazz and country blues. Drueding has spent years developing his distinctive guitar-centric sound that draws fluidly on these influences and others. During the mid-2000s, Drueding performed in several punk bands, but as he developed as a musician, he became more interested in writing songs that shied away from specific genres and traditions. In 2015, Drueding released his first solo EP entitled Strange Bruise. Recently, Drueding has been working with his band and executive producer Ray Bailey on a new record titled Tightrope Walker, due out on September 24th, 2019.
