Mike Kennedy, a guitarist, composer, music educator, producer and arranger, has been performing in Philadelphia and the Mid-Atlantic regions since 1989 and continues stretching his boundaries. Mike’s varied musical interests have shaped the sound of his music in unique ways.
Mike Frank-Piano, Paul Gehman-Bass, Dan Monaghan- Drums, Mike Kennedy-Guitar, will be performing music that is inspired by the American landscape, in particular the native southwest.

Jamal Jones Big Band: Jamal Jones is a Philadelphia native jazz composer & arranger. Jones’ original/contemporary 18 piece Large Ensemble will explore new creative territories of Big-Band music by including DJ/Sampling, effects & electronics and daring orchestrations, doublings, and intriguing mute combinations within the acoustic sections; all the while including a fusion of Hip-Hop grooves, Jazz swing, and Avant Garde. It consists of elite musicians and collegiate professors of Music throughout the Philadelphia and New York regions, and looks forward to introducing the Philadelphia area to an innovative sound for Big-Band.

Julian Hartwell: In addition to leading his own groups Julian Hartwell is an avid composer of solo piano works, taking inspiration from many genres and influences to craft a unique, evocative sound. In this intimate performance he will premier several never-before-heard compositions and larger works that straddle the worlds of neo-classical, folk music and jazz.
