Memoir Writing workshops at Black Writers Museum
The Black Writers Museum is hosting a FREE four-week workshop on “Memoir Writing.” Beginning Thursday, May 26, 2016 at 6:30 p.m., and continuing every Thursday through June 30th, Author and Publisher, Terry Johnson will teach and walk you through the fundamentals of composing a Memoir.
Terry is an accomplished writer having previously worked as senior editor at the New York Village Voice, editor for JET magazine, and reporter for the Philadelphia Inquirer. The Black Writers Museum is pleased to have Terry provide this workshop as part of our “Spring Into Summer” activities.
Please bring your journal, or get started writing your story now, and have it ready for Thursday’s opening class! Classes are held at the Black Writers Museum, Historic Vernon House, 5800 Germantown Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19144.
