Multidisciplinary poet and educator Yolanda Wisher is the author of Monk Eats an Afro (2014) and the co-editor of Peace is a Haiku Song (2013). She is a Pew Fellow and the first Poet Laureate of Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
Trapeta B. Mayson is a native of Liberia and was raised in Philadelphia. Her work sheds light on and honors the immigrant experience and the lives of everyday people. She is a widely published author and Pew fellow. She is the author of, She Was Once Herself (2012).
Both poets are residents of Germantown.
