Mission: The Germantown Artists Roundtable is a network created to support and promote the literary, visual and performing artists of Germantown -past,present, and future-by connecting them to one another as well as the larger community and promoting and preserving their art work.
In addition, the Roundtable is dedicated to supporting and promoting members of our larger artistic community including art educators, curators, art lovers and businesses and organizations connected to the arts in their artistic endeavors.
We gather monthly and hold art events/happenings throughout the year frequently
collaborating with community organizations , locally and city-wide, to bring the transformative power of the arts to our community.
Statement of Values:
The Germantown Artists Roundtable is committed to artists determining for themselves what serves them best, to an all inclusive organization, to respect & transparency and to the belief that art transforms, inspires, heals and enriches a community.
Goals:
•Promoting Germantown’s art and artists as great assets within our community
•Increasing economic and artistic opportunities for all members of our artistic community
•Offering a network of support, dialogue, communication, resources and creative connections
•Bringing human and financial resources together
•Establishing an arts corridor/village/identity that uniquely marks or embraces our geographically broad art community
Governance:
The Governing Committee shall consist of the four Officers of the Roundtable and three additional Governors (7 members altogether) to carry out the business of the organization.

Membership:
All artists, creative people, and supporters of the arts living in, working in, born in, or identifying with Germantown are eligible to be members of the Roundtable.
